WhiteSedan,
I started asking about your cam and stuff in the spring rates thread, then saw this and thought it would be better to continue that discussion here, rather than take that one too far off topic.

So far I've just used a L20 cam, still have to set up rocker geometry, pain in the arse, bloody lash pads!! (I thought the engine builder would of set the cam up for me but no, well gotta learn somewhere!)
Apparently L20 cam will give a bit more lift than the L16 cam. My head is a A87 219 casting with peanut shaped combustion chambers, not sure what CR it will be. It has brand new nissan valves and hardware, I got a mild port job and inlets matched to my weber manifold, should be a nice streetable engine.
I have another SSS head W53 (if i remember right). I want to get this built with a more suitable cam but I have to start spending some serious cash then.
the 219 head you have is a genuine L18 SSS head. Hang onto it - they are rare.
W53's are late L16 heads off Stanzas - its not a SSS head, but can be ported and modded just as well, so that's a good idea.
the L20B cam is apparently the same spec as the L18 SSS cam. Its certainly nothing wild or lumpy though.
rocker geometry with the standard L20B cam is not an issue. Just use the standard lash pads and adjust the rockers as per the workshop manual. can't go wrong. I wouldn't expect that cam to make power above 6000rpm.
