It's not possible to tell from the photo that he has provided.

My last A12GX engine had the distributor at the back but that one has the distributor up at the front which leads me to think it is an A12 with an A14 or A15 head sitting on top. I don't think that the A12GX ever had the distributor at the front but I have been wrong before!

Blofly i would of thought that a B110 A12 GX motor would have the dizzy up front. A 120y A12 GX motor would have the dizzy beside no. 3 as with any later model a-series.

Tell the seller to pop the rocker cover, and take close up pictures of the cylinder head. the gx heads should have two little humps just above the intake ports. the block should be an early style with the distributor up front. There are pictures of the gx motor on the forum.

If the seller agrees to pull the valve cover, also look for double valve springs.

Quick summary: A A12GX should have large oval ports and dual valve springs.

It makes me wonder about the claims of being a GX motor when they don't show the port side of the head...
