push it rite in the turn it (i dont know what way you turn) then put it off. i know they are a bitch. they put glue stuff in so you have to push hard to crack the glue

pull it all the way out and hold it with a pair of pliers while you push and twist. If you just push you risk cracking the facia

got the knob off and the facia out, started sanding away the purple paint to reveal orange and then BOG and lots of it over the whole facia
