I'm planning (in my head) on driving down to spectate. We'll see. Last years looked good.

DQ All Datsun Beach BBQ and Food Drive - Come join us for an All-Datsun Beach BBQ at Doheny State Beach. This is an informal gathering, so there won? be any reserved parking of any kind. (But the beach isn't nearly as crowded this time of year.) So bring your family, some picnic chairs, sun-screen and come hang out with us! The fun starts around 11am, the BBQ fires will be lit at noon and the fun ends at sundown. We'll have Hamburgers, Hot-Dogs, Chips and Drinks!
The BBQ is free, but we ask that all participants bring a can of non-perishable food, so we can make a donation to the San Diego Food Bank on behalf of the clubs involved.

I was hoping to drive down in the 12lver, and last year's photos of the event looked pretty good.

Last year's show was very nice. A lot of RARE Japanese cars and some nicely restored/original Dattos, Toyotas, etc, etc.

I went to the Doheny thing last year and it rained that day! I got there around 11:00am or so and folks left early or didn't show up due to the rain. I hope the weather is better this year.

I'll be down there, but not with the 12lver, I want to see Bighat's car down there. Hope to meet you down there Duncan. -e

It's a good thing I looked at the date. I thought it was Sunday, but the show is tomorrow!
