hi guys...

my b310 sedan differential has been making alot of noise at high speeds, besides a bad leaking on the right seal that had been fixed 3 times, but still leaks! searched all around...only found a b310 station wagon axle. according to the wrecker fella, the suspension is different as the station wagon uses leaf spring, but it can fit into mine.

so what do you guys think?...can a wagon axle fit into a sedan perfecly?

and yeah..can the whole axle fit into my trunk or rear seat?

thanks in advance

Hi, I believe that the rear diff in a B310 (sunny) is the same as a sedan one, I'm 99% sure as I have used a selby aftermarket sway bar that came off a wagon on my sedan. The diff should fit on your back seat, you may need to roll your passenger seat forward a bit. Cheers. Adam.

Its the same dont worry, both use a 4 link coil rear suspension so the rear end is the same.

Pretty sure both use the H150 unit but the wagon a 3.7 final drive and the sedan a 3.9 but not positive...

Only the a15 powered version of the Sportswagon got the 3.7 to 1 ratio in Australia. ALL other B310's got the 3.9 to 1 diff, including the much more common A14 version of the Sportswagon.

Sports-wagon. Sounds like a contradiction in terms to me.
