Have almost completed a three-link rear end and thought I might share some of my ideas

Changing my rear springs to Ute one but using only two leaves

Adding the third link which is two, inch box sections running from the nose of the diff to the approximately the uni at the back of the gear box where ive made a mount that allows forward and back movement and tilting but no up and down movement

The sole purpose of this link is to stop axel tramp with the soft spring rates

I will then add a sway bar to the rear end to tune the spring rates back up to where they need to be

Nolethane bushings and modified (cut) bump stops and I

Is there a pivot at both ends of the shaft that runs parallel with the tail shaft? What class of motor racing are you in? Adam.

i figured 4 links was better, since we don't need additional bracing like that.

i've seen those sort of setups in hotrod books

the shaft is solid mounted to the diff

the design of the frount mount is very important to allow this

im try to build the car to 3J improved production rules

i dont know if i will find the funds to compete but would like the car to be to a standard that i could

Is a set of JTS rear springs out of the question?
