What types of things did you want to know ?

I think from memory they redid some of the roads. The maps are on the website.

Everything is on the website - theres even a preparation an planning guide somewhere.

What class is he entering in?

I will be competing next year with a bit of luck.

Besides that, what do you need to know? I've read the rules and am pretty familiar with them and I've been an Official the last 3 years.

I haven't specific questions yet , I put the post up early hoping that someone who had done this rally could piont out some do's and dont's.
With servicing after each special stage local knowledge may assist in planning speedy repairs.
with only 30 sec apart you can appr. the need for time efficiency
thanks

I'll try my best - bare in mind that I haven't yet competed, so I may not be much help in terms of servicing etc... Email is the best option (just click the email button below).

Here is the official Classic Adelaide "Tarmac Rally Preparation Guide"

Ian Ogilvie?

If so, we're about to see the full potential of a 1200 in these events! That's a very well built car with one of the best drivers around.

From what I've seen the key is saving your tyres as you only get one set and if they detereate to much the officials make you change them and just give you the time penalty.

Well i have a large workshop at lonsdale that could be used if you needed late night lighting and compressors/welders etc.

Should be a good event, I like watching the flat sections behind summertown, good roads through the adelaide hills.
