I'm looking for a 1200 sedan wiring loom, or at least half. The part that goes into the engine bay. New or used as long as it works and isn't a mess. Any options considered. Thanks.

If you can't find one, you might consider one of these. EZ Wiring 20 circuit

I put one into my project car which is an English car with all Japanese drivetrain, American gauges, with a Ford steering column!

I used the 12 circuit which was the same price.

Yes, the Datsun 1200 is a very simple car. I put one of these aftermarket looms into a British car with a Datsun motor and trans, and interfaced a late model Ford steering column into it as well. The Ford column has the ignition key, turn signals, and wiper controls all built into it, as well. (It's much more complex than the Datsun)

The aftermarket looms have every wire labeled, and there are books you can buy that explain wiring a car very well. You can also download manuals from painlesswiring.com that give you an idea what is involved in putting an aftermarket wiring harness into a car.

I just offered it up as an option instead of trying to find a used loom which might be difficult to find for a 35 year old car, and might not be in the best of condition if it's used.
