a friend has a C210 Skyline? (the model AFTER the 240K)

it has a crook engine as the previous owner did skids with it...

but I want to put the whole front suspension (including 6 cylinder springs)
into my 120Y so that I no longer have bottoming out front suspension...

but will it then understeer rather than oversteer?...

I DEFINITELY prefer oversteer!

even if they are it's worth it I reakon. You can adapt some pretty good setups onto those for instance I think it's 180sx slotted discs and some corresponding brakes

springs will be to big

if your just doing it so it wont bottom out, just find some 200b rear springs and cut them down, if it bottoms out after that then you have a problem with lowness or you really like jumping the car

diamater or strength?

I remember Naukkis (L18 120Y owner)

and he said that he used 180B struts...

180B and C210 share spring Diamaters
(I think)

not really wanting to switch to ajustable spring platforms

Diameter, They may fit in the strut tower but just not sure, they are larger in diamter to standard 1200 or 120y springs. I remember with my 1600 i fitted 240k struts just bolt in.

240sx struts will work and have bigger brakes, smaller coil springs too, and lots of weights.

if you can do a swap you need to consider coilovers.
