Hey guys,
Just purchased my first 1200. It has a 93 ka24 and 5sp tranny. I need to find the dash wiring diagrams so I can start wiring my harness up. I was also need to find what Radiator I should use. Any info on the swap would help as well.

Hi Specmod,

Not too many people have done a KA swap. You might check with twistex, he's in the South Bay and is our resident KA swap expert.

You might use a new aluminum Golf radiator, only $45. golf radiator

Sounds like fun!

Its the twin cam if I'm not mistaken. I drooled over the craigslist ad quite a bit. I almost bought it, but I had gotten my coupe just weeks before. My girlfriend almost bought it before the ad vanished. She loves the sedans.

So is the body straight and rust free on that thing? Could never tell in the pcitures.

Use a VW radiator from a 85 and newer water cooled four. The A/C cars had longer cores, the short ones may be the only ones that fit a datto. They can be had brand new for 40-50$, they are light (aluminum), and fairly bulletproof. People put them in everything. I'm putting one in my BMW 2002.

Check 510 sites for wiring info, the swap is more common on the dimes. I can't imagine the wiring is that hard. You'll need wiring diagrams for both the datto and the 240sx.

So do you have a shop to do all this stuff? Welding experience? I may be able to take the car off your hands in the case you no longer want to deal with it.
Good luck!

Its a twin cam..The car is straight, little rust here and there but I sanded down the bad spots sprayed it with primer and its good. Body is nice car is in good shape.I have the car at my house Ive worked on cars for about 8 years now. Ive done everything from custom stainless exhaust to most honda swaps.

Im mocking up my tranny brace now, im just going to use 1/4 plate and brake it at my work. Im going to make about 10 of them so I can help people out with the swap. cheap way to make them .
Im putting in 18guage galvanized sheet metal for my floor pans and just roll my tunnel and tig weld everything.
