Hi
Still chasing my offroader running rich at idle etc . I only have a shop manual for a CA18DET but have a CA18DE .
Are the throttle position sensors the same ? The manual states ( from memory here ) 1 ohm idle and 9 ohms full etc . I have 9ohms idle and 1 ohms full . If they are the other way I have them backwards , ie mine is opposite to the specs for a ca18det . I would not have thought that they would be that different . Is my throttle position sensor stuffed or have I measured it wrong .

Cheers
Chris

you measured it wrong, or it's wired up wrong.

The TPS front connector is wired as such.

one pin is 1ohm to 9 ohm, the other pins is 9 ohm to 1 ohm with the middle pin as the common.
