Hi guys u all hav been a great help with my problem. From the responses i got its clear that if i am going to fit larger diameter wheels to my 1200 deluxe i am gonna have to do a strut change. Can anyone pls tell me wat the expected gain i could experience with regard to the rim clearence(15" with 195x50 tyres) from the front shock when fitting the sunny or stanza strut?

I would like to know which one would work better with no mods to the fender or firewal?l

Both will allow the same clearance( about 3mm) with the 15 inch tyre. The struts are virtually identical apart from the brake caliper.

I was planning on putting some stanza struts into my sunny, do the brake calipers bolt up? Someone told me they would, just need bigger pads.

pretty sure the caliper bolt spacing is different, you would need the pad to suit the caliper obviously

i think the early stanza calipers are the same as the sunny ones, its the late model stanza struts with girlock calipers that you want
