Just thought id post up a couple of pics of my progress over the last skool holidays. Ive been looking at hardcovers on this site for a while and considering buying one. But of course my dad said y don't we make one......
So a father always knows best doesn't he?
by the time we had finished im pretty sure he wished we had just bought one off here.

I reckon you should start taking orders .

Peter I think that is an excellent job. With things like making the cover yourself it's the experience you gain that is beneficial. What materials did you use to make the frame and is the lid fibreglass?

Ok its a steel frame with plywood glued and screwed down. Heres a pic of the finished steel frame.
