i just got a 67 L520 with a blown motor and have access to a nice 1600 out of a 510 does anyone kno how hard this swap is and what i need to do it sucessfully the truck is all there and really straight and i have access to a 510 tranny if i need it this is my first swap soo any info u guys have would be really helpful thanx

You might care to include which part of the US you are located in your profile so that you can get much more localised help.

The 520 was sold in the US with both the J series engine as well as the L series. What was your original engine?
If it was an L series, then the swap will be pretty much straight forward.
