Well the A-14 engine poped going down the road &shut off . the valve train isn't moving so I know the timing chain has prolly broke , Do these engines have a tendancy to bend valves ,? cause I have'nt tore into it yet

I have never heard of an A series engine suffering a failure of this type before, so I suspect that the only way to get an answer to your question is to pull the head.

I will be very interested to hear what it was that caused the failure.
