For five grand it would want to be a bit more than just a straight unit.

I have had a few and they were all under a grand but they were not in show condition by any stretch.

While they are a great car and maybe a really special one may be worth five grand, I would have a sober look at it in the daylight before handing over that sort of money.

Yep it would definately have to be a particularly smick example to pull that sort of dosh.

Bear in mind also that 1000's are getting more and more difficult to get parts for (steering bits etc..) so keep it in mind for long term usage.

yeh for $5k it would wanna be a goodin'. There is a strong 1000 following in Perth. A fair few parts/part cars getting around. And Neil has just gotten a new set of disk brake front end hubs in. I think they are all spoken for though.

And pics? Havnt seen it advertised anywhere

IT'S being finished now. she has a 1200 motor with lot's of magic tool and machinery work. He'd take three, three and a half
But he'll seperate .They snipper system line's fitting's and bottle. (nos system)worth 2500 alone got gauge's, bottle warmer and the bottle is painted a funky black crome.
the colour of is not very graceful through the len of a crappy ten dollar digi camera (mine).
I have bought heap of 1200 idler arm's (for the steering )
thinking they'll fit 1000 maybe told they WILL NOT.
totally different style angle all wrong too.(All new).
bit's like steering columne's can they be reconed here. or I a'm able to do it all my self.
Not seen many bit advertized in paper's or any where...
Reckon they 1000 coupe was the sexiest (back then) .
Thank's for the feed back guy's.@gal's

I've seen a 1000 ute with a n14 pulsar steering column. Might be an option

I was thinking of maybe steering column with the title option as the 1000 dash is oddly high.

Minus the stereo .
that's sweet will sought that out later on.

ankle001, you'll have to come to the next datto meeting in Morley. 2nd Tuesday of each month. Or the next cruise i organise, should be early next yearish. Ill let you know via PM sooner the date!

Yeh that purple ute has had a slight cab extension... 1000 utes never had side vents
I assume its still for sale, never seen it around though.
