Hey all.
Have come around quite a few 5 speeds at the moment(yea i know nz rocks ) and it got me thinking.
How many of you ozzie dudes out there would pay the money for shipping to aussie ? would you go that far to get a 60 series a or L as to import one from NZ?
Trying to get a feeling on how badly you guys really want 5 speeds
Cumon, express your inner anguish (sp??).
Chris

How much AUD would you want for one to give us an idea once shiping is added. I am sure their would be people keen to get their hands on one over here. Good idea.

Let's see... a 60A 5-speed in a thin plywood box weighs just on 75 pounds (34 kg). This means it is a mite too heavy for standard New Zealand Post parcel service. So it would cost *more* than the 30kg parcel post rate of $280 AUD ($324 NZD)

The cost of plywood and time to build a box ought to be worth what? Say $35 AUD. This is extra service over a local pick up.

Then there's GST. What would that amount to?

Get a firm price on what shipping would cost, then I'll tell you how much I want to pay.

Shipping could either make or break a good deal.
