rims and tyres question

hey guys

am i going to encounter any problems fitting 195x50x15 tyres on a 15x7 rim on the front? for both standard and stanza struts

yes or no, depending on offsets. I had 195/50 tyres on 15x7 rims on a ute with superlow springs and no guard work. They didnt rub at all. Maybe a little when fully compressed.

If you can match offsets to struts you shouldnt have trouble

long answer goes something like this

with the correct offset you may be able to avoid the tyre rubbing on the guard..

but in my opinion if you want to lower the front at all your gonna need some guard pumping

and with 195/50's you will also have issues with tyre scrub on the footwell side of the inner guard at or near full lock.. and also have issues with the tyre catching the very bottom front edge of the guard as you turn..

i may be wrong

Are those rims VOLKs? are you running disk brake front? I had to get new rims to fit over my new brakes (would fit but with 2 spacers to clear the caliper).

they look to me like chevoit rims, they are a copy of enkei mesh rims
