I just swapped the straightened out sedan leaves in my sedan, for some ute ones. Now the ass is jacked big time. BUT, the rear is stiffer, and the tyres don't rub anymore. I'm going to make some lowering blocks. When I swapped the leaves, I measured the kingpin, to ake sure it would fit the hole in the diff pad. I noted it was bigger, but it still fitted okay.
I need to know the size so I can make the blocks, without having to pull it to bits.

A kingpin is used on antique front suspension. Which part of the rear suspension are you asking about?

He's talking about the pin that goes vertical through the leaves/pads/holders in the rear.

But your right, King pins are a old front suspension setup, like on old Holdens, EH's and stuff.

The bolt through the center of the spring stack? I've always known it as a 'center bolt'
