i've read that flipping the main leaf will make my 120y low (very low). how low are we talking? like on the bump stops?
if i do go ahead and flip it and realise that it isnt practical, will i be able to un-flip it? or will it be bent the wrong way?

if its to low you can just unflip it, as long as it doesnt take you 6 months to realise this, the leaves will bend eventually as they are have the force of the whole car and other leves on pretty much only 2 parts of the leaf

but if you just spend a day flipping different leaves till you get a ride height you like, you should be fine

does that mean that when they bend over time the height will change? there are 4 leafs: 1 being the biggest (main), 4 being the smallest (bottom). which one would be the best to flip? i want people to say that is low, but i dont want it scraping.

get yourself some lowering blocks.
If the springs were designed to work upside down, datsun would have fitted them upside down.

my understanding is when you flip the leaf you seperate the spring pack and flip the top leaf the advantage in ride hieght is due to the leaf coming of the top of the bush not the bottom and it lowers the car buy the hieght of the bush

generally having the top leaf reset to curve in the oppset direction and any one with a press should be able to do this

I have seen it done in escorts and it seems to work well as long as you only change the one spring
