We brought this badge for $35+postage, on ebay we were told it was for a ute in fact its for the sedan if anyone has the datsun 1200 ute badge and liked to do a swap for a excellent conditioned sedan badge that would be great if not we found a way we could modify this sedan badge to suit the ute :)

i have a ute badge will swap. i'm in brissy too.
its the elongated badge with the D in middle like an 84 85 grill.
in perfect condition just needs to be resprayed

I have a brand new (in the box) Ute badge at home. I'll swap you for it.

The utes used the sedan badge. So they weren't lying. Not until later did the utes switch to the coupe-style grille and use the rectangular badge.
