i dont know about a 120y but in the 1200 some 2 inch blocks took care of the shocks. bottomed them out be4 i got to the stops.

I lowered my B210 2.5 inches at the rear and never bottomed out. I decambered the springs, and had shorter Koni shocks. 13X8 215/50's

i've put 2inch lowering blocks in the back and have only had it hit the bump stop a few times with weight in the boot.
if you normally have your boot empty you should have no problems.
