Hi guys,
I have a 1977 datsun b210
I live in the U.S.

I am trying to find out what i can take off of the carb, headers, and intake manifold.
I wand to get rid of all the old e.g.r. stuff if that is possible.
I bought a set of 4 into 1 style headers but now im not sure if i can use them because of all the emmisions bits sticking out all over the place.

Id like to know which vacum lines i can do away with which ones ill need to plug or cap and what i can use to cap them.

I also have this weird pipe coming out of the thermostat housing that i havent seen on any other car. I think its funneling exhaust into the intake. Can it be taken off and plugged.

Any how you guys get what im asking.

Has anybody had any experience with this?

1977 b210
U.S.A. "california model" i think due to all the EGR crap.

The only vacuum line I have left on my 77 is for the distibutor advance. You may run into trouble fitting the header under your intake manifold. I have a solution for that too. I will post a pic later tonite.

If you live in California better not remove the emission controls, unless you live in an area where there is no testing required.

Anglia man, the pumps are cheap outside of California. Try an online wrecking yard hotline, even with shipping it should be less than an California yard will charge. It's just supply and demand.

Have you checked out the price from Nissan or Krager/Grand Auto? Last I checked a remanufactured unit was only $50.
