I know there was a thread a while back with all the info to fit r31 struts,
with coilova kit. If you can point me in the right direction?

Rock, have a look in my photo album, i have fitted a set of coil overs to the r31 struts im running. A lot of other parts have to be changed as well to get them to work, e.g. wheels, strut tops, springs, steering arms, tie rod ends, and lower control arms. Dont let this put you off tho.
