hey guys the nsw hillclimb championship will be on the 17-18 of march (two rounds one each day) or the easter races known as the international motor festival on the easter long weekend
ill be entered in the hillclimb in my 1200 coupe and i will also be showing my 1200 coupe in the blcc show off at harris park (opposite the pits at mt panorama) and then doing 2 parade laps for the bathurst light car club (blcc)
so is anybody interested in comming and having a look there will also be a 1000 2 door with a ca18de in it leading the parade lap and its also entered in the hillclimb (there you go aden more publicity )

I'm coming up with my sedan for both rounds. Not expecting to be competitive as Chris "The Boss" Petersen is coming as well and is in the same class.
But I'll be happy just to have a run on the Mt Panorama circuit.

fair enough have you ever run here before?
i ran against chris in the australian championships and he was about 2.5 secs quicker than me even though we were in the same class!!!

No I haven't run at Bathurst before and i'm really keen to do so.
Chris is in my class in the supersprint series and is a lot quicker than me. Last time at the Wakefield Park Hillclimb i think he was around 3 seconds quicker. I was pretty happy being that close to his time.
Anyway i'm looking forward to the event and meeting all the fellow Datsun drivers who come.

you'll love it. I've been down there a couple of times and its just awesome to drive on parts of Bathurst - particularly the Mountain Straight Hillclimb - some awesome corners over the top of the mountain! You'll have a ball.

And its always good to have someone in your class who's genuinely fast like the Boss as a yardstick to measure your progress against. I'll be looking forward to photos and the report from that weekend.

I'd love to go, & if it's humanly possible, then I'll be there.
I was thinking of entering my stocker & showing everyone just what a standard 1200 auto will do up that mountain pass, but I fear that the time keeper will have trouble reading the result in the dark.

Better that I stick to taking pictures.

With a few recent improvements to Aidens 'Highlands Missile 1200' he will be better equiped to give it his best than ever before & I know that we all wish him great success.

i just got the new advan 048r's put on so maybe they might be a bit better than the 6 year old 032r's that i was on last year lol
yeah you guys will love the mountain straight one and its even better than on the playstation lol
