I was wondering if some good kind hearted datsun owner living in japan would be interested in doing me a favour. I have some Nissan Part Numbers for a couple of things that i want. They are available through Nissan NZ (Very Expensively) ex Japan and i was wondering if any ex pats would be interested in going into a nissan dealer over there and getting a price and availability of the parts and if the price is good shipping them out to me. I'm sure we could sort something out with what is a fair price for a favour like this.
If anyone is willing to help out could you please give me a PM.

Cheers
Nick

In Japan, Nissan dealers don't sell parts. You can go to the Nissan Parts company.

What parts do you need? Maybe some members already have some NOS nissan parts lying around they'd be willing to sell.

ok make that the nissan parts company
The parts i need aren't NOS they are engine parts...... off a sr20vet xtrail, we didn't get the sr20vet option new in NZ i think only japan did.
Thats why i suspect it may be cheaper to get them direct from japan. I could be wrong, there might be so little in it that it isn't worth pursuing.
Although the nissan dealer here is horrendously expensive. For example NZD1300 for a ABS Sensor for a GTiR, yes, thirteen hundred dollars for one ABS Sensor!

ddgonzal is it possible that i can deal with one of the nissan parts company direct, do any of them have websites?

Cheers
Nick
