Ok my gearbox crunched itself to peices yesterday & i'm stuck catching public transport to work... I'll pay to ship a gearbox from just about anywhere.

You should be able to get one out of the trading post for $50-100, no worries.

some wreckers still have them...... but usually only the dodgier places- a lot of wreckers don't keep anything older than 20 yrs these days.

I picked up a whole pile of stuff including 2 gearboxes for $100 last week.

thanks for the tip - does anyone know if I need to get a special gearbox if running an A14? one out of a 120y should be ok right?

a 60 series box would be better, but the 56(a12 gearbox) should do the job fine

what does the 60 series box come out of?

hey dude I've got two 120Y boxes on the floor in my garage. i paid $33 each for them so I'd kinda like $30 for one. They were from a wrecker (floor stock) so they are in unknown condition, however I would hope that the wrecker held onto them coz they were good. If you get one and it turns out to be not good you can have the other one.
