i will be needing to get my struts shortened( stanza ones) and am not sure how far they need to be shortened. can anyone give me a brief description on how low to cut and reweld back on.
now i need to know what springs
and what inserts to use.
and any suspension places that would do it for me
can anyone fill me in on this one please

Well, the strut is pressed into the axle casting, so once those two are separated you can cut the tube and then re-insert it, no welding required.
The rest is a bit furry without knowing what height you are wanting

Hey,
I shortened my Stanza struts a few weeks ago. They were lathed down 59 mm for 240z inserts . But this was very tight so if you're going with the shorter z inserts I'd leave an extra mm or two on top of the 59 (ie cut off about 57) so that the end cap will screw on easily. I also used lowered (not super low) Stanza King Springs. Ride height looks about the same but haven't had too close a look for a while since I'm back at uni.
