G'day everybody,

As i dont really know much about the Y i was wondering if you guys could give me some tips. i would like to put a sub in the boot and really deck it out. If anyone has done this could they please put up some photos so i could see how they decked it out. also i was wondering if anyone knows the procedures on sanding a car back and blowing some paint over. The car has abit of rust on it. Is rust convertor pressure pack can good stuff to use to stop it. any help would be great thanks guys

I was drivin my dads 120y ariound for a while, n had 2 12"subs in a pretty massive box in the boot, had plenty of rrom for amp but i thought it would be safer in the car, had bit of touble gettin it in just had to take the boot latch off, i was gunna take pics but never got round to it n now have em ini my 120y fastback, i can still take sum pics if u want tho, i also had 6x9s in boxes which fit perfectly in the rear dash and the head unit i had mounted with brackets under the dash. I can take sum pics of that if u want as itll be the same in the fastback as the sedan.

thanks for the reaply mate. it would be good to some photos of ya fastback set up. your dads Y sounded like it woulda shaked the streets with 2 12s in the boot. The Y is so rare to see on the road theses days its good to see people have still got em.

A lot of people swear by POR15 for rust prevention. I havent used it myself but I've seen what it can do and later on I will use it for my 120y coupe. You can get it from Ruscoes paint supplies in my city, don't know who stocks it down south though so better check the website
