In Aust they are a H190, its best to check the Id plate to work out the spec of the diff , here is a link to that shows you how to read the diff specs ,

Hi Cam.
How do you read that stuff!!!
I think we need guys like you who can read jumbled scientific english and translate it into aussie "how to" language.
So is the H190A the lsd or the H190 or have I got it all wrong all together

How wide is a Vanette diff compared to a 1200?

I've got the measurements of my h190 in my pictures. Note that I drew the diff myself cos the camera was broken at the time

There is member on here with a 120y wagon rally car that has a Vanette diff, I think it sticks out a bit wider than the original but as its a race car its not an issue.

I think it's about 60mm wider per side.

They are around 1416mm with discs fitted .or 1400mm axle to axle face . for a C120 vanette .. but they have the smaller axles ,

a stanza diff is the same width

The Std 1200 diff is 1300mm from axle to axle face , so its a 100mm wider in total width

so does that mean a stanza diff is too wide for a 1200?
