Well to save me PMing everyone who asks and to keep all the links together i thought i would make a new thread for this. Everything has a big fat APPARENTLY infront of it!!!
Ok the theory goes something like this.
Housing: P411 Bluebird rear axle housing. These are the same width as a 1000's H145. All handbrake lines etc bolt up. Housing bolts to original 1000 leaves. No modification needed.
Center: Use a H165 alloy housing (to save weight) and one of "topgear"s LSD's once the new batch is done. Or a open H165 with your choise of ratios for the time been.
Axles: 1000 H145 are a direct replacement for the originals.
Brakes: S2 Bluebird drum setup which can be used with 240Z/260Z alloy finned drums. Or other.
Driveshaft: Custom made.
Ok, question time!
1)Are P411 axle housings actually the same size as a 1000's? I have heard they are 45mm longer.
2)Are P411 H165 and say a B120 H165 the same axle spline into the centre? Therefore the same as into "topgear"s LSD?
3)Has anybody actualy done this and has the car running with the P411 diff setup?
Please add any info you may have!!!
