Well my wats should be arriving very soon (13x7).

What style do you think i should paint them. Im tossing up over

-All black
-Black centre and polished lip

I keep looking at that pic of the white 1000 sedan with all black 13" wats and recon it looks sweet as... But then i stand outside and look at the wagon and try to imagine it... I donno, the wags will have a fair bit of chrome on it so it would match with a polished lip, and it would show the dish off.

Comments/suggestions?

If I was faced with this choice I would go with the polished lip cause all black for me would be a bit strong. Plus like you said the polished lip would go quite nicely with the chrome on the body.

Well that's what I'd do...

the two aussies i know who put wats (aka watanabe wheels) on their cars went for the polished lip, and they couldn't imagine having them any other way

so you may want to go that route to avoid others asking you why you didn't polish the lips, or "mate, you need to polish the lips" ... etc.

in the usofa, we're ok with the monochrome look (no polished lip), and i've yet to see a wat with a polished lip, unless they're rs-8's, but those aren't real wats

the dattos jap, the wheels are jap, why not go for a jap look. all black them i say.
I polished the lip on my superlites with the black centres. i like it a lot but i always think man i should have blacked them out.
That style is just so "japaneese track spec" to me.
Just a thought.
