You can spend $4000 more. You will not see 350 at the wheels for any longer than a 1 hour session at the dyno.

I'm giving you an early christmas present. The gift of truth.

Don't get Microtech. Get Haltech/Motec/Autronic. Anything less is a felony.

felony ??
do your homework get the most for your money
i've used wolf 3d and link computers and they worked faultlessly , cars ran well made good power and no dramas, a mates autronic gave him some grief but.
plenty to choose from
good luck

its up to the tuner and intended application really....
microtech are great for huge fuel dumps like in a rotary, but for more precise especially high boost turbo applications you will need an ECU with many fuel mapping points which can be set properly by the tuner. Its a black art really and to find someone good will be expensive. My tuner swears by Autronic over and above Motecs even...so that what I went with.

what's your intended use for the car,
street, circuit or drag?
if drag only, microtech are fine as you are at WOT all the time.

I'm with dattodude with this, you're expecting that kind of power yet want to buy a budget computer? If you spend the big dollars early you won't have trouble down the track. The budget MoTeC is $2k alone.

What are the engine specs? You must have spent over $20k already anyway, so what's another $3-4k?
