So, yeah, planning to put a oil pressure dial in my 1981 Datsun with an A15 motor.

But, the problem I have is that the car isn't here atm and I don't know the size/pitch of the threads on the oil-pressure switch. The Autometer guage I plan to use has an SAE thread, and I need an adapter, because I'm certain the Datsun's is metric. Does it have a 10mm, 12mm, 14mm or 16mm fitting? It looks like a 10mm in the pictures of the part, but internets pics can be decieving and all that...

So, who knows the thread size? Normally I could just go and pull the part and see for myself, but that's not an option right now

i have an autometer electric gauge sender screwed right into the oil pump. what is that 8bsp or something? it's a good idea to use some stainless line and put the sender somewhere where it won't vibrate because it's a big thing, and if you use a tee get a billet steel one, not one from the hardware store....
