Ouch, pretty nasty. Do you think the bloke was being a bit silly (even though I suppose you barely know him) or it was just one of those things?

I remember thinking that wasn't a bad car...

This is why I'd never sell a hotted up car to anybody under 25 I'd feel guilty about it.

Many kids should drive hyundai excels with blocked exhausts until they are 25 at least

As a teenager, knowing what's right and wrong doesn't help. I've been there. I think driver training should also involve the pain the insurance companies and the police put you through if you have an accident. Not to mention the harassment from your friends and family are also likely to deal out to you.

In all honesty, the guy was a tool. He had no idea how to drive it, no idea about how to fix it, or how it worked, he just wanted it. And I needed it moved on.

He said that he gave it a gutfull in the wet, lost it sideways, couldn't get it back, hit the median strip, flipped it, and skidded to a halt on the opposite side of the road. Very lucky boy. Even after I told him to be careful in the wet.

The car was unregistered too, so I think he'll be in just a little bit of trouble.

Very simmiler thing happened to me and my old datto 1000 ute. Sold it due to bad chassis rust. 3 days later the prick lent it to his mate who wrote it off. speeding down a main road, drunk, no licence, no insurance, coming back from clubbing and hit a new bus stop rolling the car 2 times. nothing was salvageable on the ute. He "ran" away because 2 cops knocked on my door a hour after it happened 5:30AM, because the car was still in my name!
The car stayed where it landed for a full week untill it was cleared and i have no idea what happened to the wreck after that!
Made it in the local paper too, SO many people saw that poor little datto (Cr Whitfords av and Wanneroo Rd)

WARNING! Pics of the crashed car are below!!!

How about you learn the facts before shooting your mouth off you fool! For your information he had a permit to drive home on Saturday. The accident happened Sunday lunch time.

And even so, what business of mine is it if he drives HIS vehicle home or around unregistered. #### me am I suppose to ring the guy and make sure he got home ok and then babysit him until he gets the car registered,

Grow up.

Throttle control.....we don't need no throttle control just pin it and steer like a wild man.
Don't know if it is a common bike saying in yuor part of the world but these guys are known as squids..........people who ride fast but don't know how...........it applies for cars. Squids buy liter sport bikes , open class motocrossers and turbo Porsche track cars then promptly scare themselves and anyone near them.................a luck boy indeed

What a tosser.
