Jislaaik, I hope all our members down under that lives in the flood affected areas have tied their datto's down. Man that's some bad news, what with all the rain and floods going on. I hope we didn't have any serious losses on the datto front, or worse even member's lives. I'm holding thumbs for you guys, and hope that you don't have to much trouble.

Anyhow, what would the recommended procedure be to "revive" a drowned datto. I guess an oil and fuel drain is non negotiable, removal of carpets, seats and everything that could soak, plus a week in the sun to dry out all the wiring. Other than that one would probably hope like hell that nothing rusts. My personal opinion would be to get it running asap, to get the heat in there to chase out any moisture. What do other members think?

I can't speak for anyone who lives in a badly affected spot but I'm always makes me sad that my sedan is out in the rain whenever it rains. My sisters' 88' Honda Accord even gets priveldge of the garage when its raining too
