I took a butt load of pics of a 60 series that I pulled apart. It is A14 Prep page 10 on my dodgy website.....see if anything there could help.

I think stooey47 on this site inherited all the pieces of the gearbox of me - I bet it still is in pieces too - he might be able to take a snap of something for you.

the big problem for me is even if i had the 60 series fork in my hands... i still need to remove my 56 out of the car to check.
Basically im looking for someone who has a picture of the 56 series fork that i can make comparisons too.
the picture i put up in the first post is from a 60 series.
I'll give your site a look.

I have a 60L behind an A12 - the only difference to put a 60L behind an A14/A15 iis to use the long thrust bearing holder

I think my 60L uses the long TB holder as it's behind the A12 in "The Defect"

no I'm not interested in selling my 60L 4 speed... or swapping/giving it awayas it will be pressed back into service soon

so, "long thrust bearing holder" for when behind a12 or a14/15 ?
Also the long tb holder comes from.....? which box.

Chris, postage will be $5 max. I'll send you my fork, and if it's not what you need toss it away.

Ok, clutch fork for 56 series box is almost straight and uses longer thrust bearing holder. 60 series use a fork with almost a 90 degree bend in it with a shorter thrust bearing holder. I know this as I just spent the last 3 days pulling the gearbox in and out to sort the issue!

I'm assuming the long TB holder comes from an 56A - and the short one comes from an 60L

the difference id because the A14/15 flywheel is thicker

I'm assuming my 60L has a long one as it's behind an A12
