Do you guys think that this is a little harsh or is it perfectly fair?? I think it's bloody spot-on, quite proud of my writing actually!

Dear sir/madam,
Unfortunately your failure to collect the item and failure to satisfy the financial obligations of your purchase has led to a cancellation of this transaction.
I hope you fully understand the reasons as to why this transaction has been cancelled. All obligations upon my behalf were fulfilled with the intent for a speedy collection and payment, you simply did not arrive at the times you said you could, consequently creating more inconveniences.
Furthermore I have issued my address to a complete stranger which is slightly unnerving for my young family.
I would ask you on behalf of the Ebay community to subdue your intentions to purchase spontanaeously without the intention to fulfill obligations as this causes complications for those who have organised to provide such sales.

Feel free to email me concerning the issue at hand.
Kind Regards,
Chris.

Its your call, when you sell on Ebay you get to meet all sorts of slow/non paying deadsh!ts, its a totally different world to being a buyer, I have had guys take six months to arrive and pickup and pay for their purchases. You have to ring them every week, email them etc and there will be some that never turn up, some that want to haggle over the price when they do come, some will email to say can they pay in a month or that they have just lost their job or their kid bid by accident.

Some people shouldnt be allowed near a computer with out the supervision of a sober adult.

some people r just idiots...

clyons8 u sound like me if u make a purchase u pay for it u pick it up n your done all by the agreed time... that's how it should work... but i have learnt from experience just cos that's how u do things doesn't mean others will too... bringing me back to my original statement...

some people r just idiots...

if luke or i win an auction on ebay, and then something happens within the time of when we need to pay/pick up one or both of us send the seller a message, stating what has happened and then we stay in contact with the seller so that they do know that we are not fcuking them around. one instance my pay came through a day or so late in which case obviously i couldn't pay within the stated time but kept in touch via email. or whathave you, and then as soon as i could i got my arse to the bank or the Post Office to pay for the item. and then notify as soon as i got backfrom paying for the item to notify it has then been paid for.

but people who say they will come pick it up and pay for it, or who don't pay when stated that is just wrong.

you are well within your rights as a seller to do or write what is nesscessary ( spelling?) to inform them and or make a formal complaint.

Yep, it is unfortunate, and happens fairly reguarly. How many times have you seen something like 'Datsun 1200 ...........rego till Sept' and then someone asks, "does it have any rego?" READ THE ADD! I just give them negative feedback and then put them on my blocked bidders list. Some of the questions these wombats ask is amazing.....when you decipher there shorthand!!

It pisses me off when people are selling stuff interstate with PICK UP ONLY when it would be next to no effort to post the item, even when you offer to pay their costs.
sorry please continue venting about bidders

im amazed of peoples complacency with giving thier private details to strangers...

also im a dead beat who always asks people that put pick up only in their adds if they will post interstate.... and usually they say yes cause they forgot to select a different option or because no one else bids on it...

dont ask dont get is my policy.

I am more than happy to give people my details, 'Never live in fear of another man and never spend your time on petty hatred' as the old man says, it's just the missus that was worried. The buyer lives where I am so I am more than willing to help them out with a cheaper option. The seats I had in the classifieds section was the item that sold- $70, all they had to do was pick-up and pay. They're fantastic seats and they're cheap!
I was also relying on the money to pay for some parts. I have a 2yr old boy, a fiance (who works like the devil) and I am in my final year at uni making ends meet by washing plates and scrubbing pots- AS AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT- whoridas_girl this explains my misspelling (I'm serious, did I spell that right??)
I don't know, it just would have been so much more easy if they had simply picked up and paid.
I could have covered a datsun door lock and bought nappies with that money!!
