gday ive got a set of 84 vanette rotors and calipers.will they fit on a 1200 coupe and or whats involved in fitting these.any coments would be great before i start disasemble and find out #*#*!cheers

not a common conversion... could be a good reason why. pretty sure they dont fit up easily

I believe some people have fitted them to a 1000, but 1000s are very different to 1200s.

they are indeed.just after something not to difficult to upgrade for kanacross but not sure what the original discs will be like.spent 12mths building this coupe and nearlly into the last couple of weeks to go.

I am not saying its impossible, it might work, it would be worth taking the discs you have off and trying them on for size, it should become apparant pretty quickly what will need to be done.

Someone wrote recently that 1600 hubs, discs and calipers fit on the coupe strut which would be a small upgrade with not too much extra weight, im not 100% sure on the details if the hub is needed or not and whether offset is changed.

Hey Nuts,for what you are doing Motorsport wise,i would be prone to leaving the front brakes alone.They are not that bad if in good condition,i would however sneak a brake bias cockpit unit in somewhere.That way you can control pressure to the rears.But they are illegal for road use i believe in most states,so if you go down that track be smart and think consoles

good advise must give it a shot before stuffing with them.a few coupes in the club run the rear bias,and we are all on club plates so that could be interesting if jolly oppers decide to have a sticky!
