HUH? how u manage that? what class ute it registered under?

EDIT - when i checked with engineer largest turbo engine u could have was a 1.8 (eg CA) n non-turbo was 2L (eg SR20DE... not DET)

I just informed today the ute had a mod plate under engin sub then it's just a safty cert the code is La1 and iam a under body automotive engineer and yes det

yeah La1 is just the code 4 engine substitution,
i'm guessin who eva was @ Transport Dep. wasn't on the ball...
but once it's approved as long as u keep rego'n it ur right...
