hi guys looking through all the search subjects on turbo a series i cant really find what i want.
i'm really after a few answers like what turbo, timing, fuel pumps, carbs, boost pressures, blow through or suck through, intercooler or no intercoller.
Just general things i cant really make up my mind i want something simple-ish that me younger brother can get his head around but something that will produce plenty of power.

this subject has been covered from ear to arsehole mate.

you need to decide on how much cash you have and how much you can do yourself. but if you ask me for a cheapish setup would be a suck through from an SU style carb using a cut up exhaust manifold and a hack type inlet pipe bolting to the stock inlet manifold.....

keep searching buddy all the info is there.....

One of the members on this site, "frankthe dolphintrainer" is making custom turbo manifolds for "A" series donks. He is bolting one to his 1200 out at the moment, shoot him a PM and he might be able to point you in the right direction

There is no hard and fast answer to the question, everything has been tried, and they have all been made to work, surprisingly some of the simplest have been more successful than some of the more complex attempts, For maximum power, injection, intercooler and big turbo has produced amazing results, but then some very low budget draw through setups without intercoolers are blowing away WRXs.

As far as im aware its only rotary turbos eg 13b 20b etc that have factory carbon seal. Any turbo will work just use a small throttle body after turbo so inlet side of turbo never sees vacuum. Take throtle out of carby.
