Hi all, i am having a problem with my engine and have no idea what it could be and am after some advice. I have an A15 which is fuel injected and running a T28 turbo. It has an ems computer and electronic ignition running a single coil. The previous issue was when i would run more than 6psi the car would cut out under load. EMS said that i needed a CDI unit as the spark wasnt strong enough and i installed a CDI. Now it is ok up to 16psi but is still doing the same thing when running more than that. Has anyone got any ideas or has anyone experienced this problem before? Any feedback will be much appreciated. Cheers

I would be checking the dizzy or coil. Running higher boost you need to run a closer plug gap and stronger spark other wise the pressure can "blow the spark out"! You may need a stonger coil ect.

My advice would be to stay clear of Pro Comp, I have had a few problems with their dizzys and a freind of mine had drams with his whole Pro Comp set up. Crane Fireball, MSD or even ACCEL (the big yellow sucker) would be better even though they are a few more bucks.

Thats just my 2 cents

I have a Crane Fireball on my Ski boat, good unit! MSD would also be a good choice.
