Legally NO

Physically Hell yeh, if you are crafty enough you could fit a blown 600 Ford big block or even a jet engine

There is a member on her by the name of "mikgan" who is currently putting a 351 clevo into a 120Y, have a chat to him

i put same engine in a
1200 coupe
and a
toyota corona

easy fit and distributor at front so more room.

also recently found out a turbo 400 gearbox mount nearly fits 1200 chassis
but u will run a c4 or toploader

post pics up if u do it

i think these days a 289 will only get registered in a car with a motor 2l or more.

i got parts for that setup 2 so keep me in mind...
thanks

Sure, many people have done a similar swap. The B110 and B210 are almost identical in engine compartment, but the B210 wheelbase is about 3/4" longer, and the B210 tunnel is the size of a B110 automatic-engined car.

Look at all these V8 swaps!

I haven't heard of anywhere in US where you can't do this. Even California lets you if the car is pre-1974.
