No, 2 litre is the biggest N/A motor you can fit.

Check the RTA website (there's a link to it somewhere on Datnet). It has a PDF of the regulations regarding engine swaps and how to calculate the capacity you can go to.

I to have seen registered V6 1200s, but as we all know there are shonky ways around engineering and rego.

actually the biggest na motor you can go is a 2.4 but unless your after the sound of a stroked l20 out to a 2.4 with twin webers you'd just go the 2.0 sr

Thanks Lachie, that was the PDF I was talking about.

Heaviest weights would be:

750 x 3 (NA) = 2250cc or,
750 x 2.5 (turbo) = 1875cc (this was calculated in my head, so don't hold me to it)

Weight is calculated from the heaviest variant of your model. So my 690kg ute for the purposes of engineering is calculated from the 750kg station wagon. Unless my weights are incorrect 750kg was the heaviest a 1200 ever came out with.

This is what I was told by an engineer, and he'd done plenty of 1200/CA conversions.
