Hey all

jusrt a querie. i need to replace my diff and axles on my 1983 datsun 1200 ute after a incident with a gutter.

I was wondering if anyone can help me by telling me if all ute and sedan diff and axles are the same besdies the ratio associated with the diff? Also do different years models of these cars/utes fit onto mine?

thanks if you casn help out. it would be much appreciated.

Karl

by diff do you just mean the centre?

only ute axles, from 73 onwards utes, will fit up with the standard housing and centre

other 1200 and 120y complete diff assemblys will fit in with little modification

series 1 and 2 bulebird diff centres will be a straight swap with the ute one as with jap assembled stanzas

but no ute and sedan diffs are quite different, the whole ute diff assembly is bigger and stronger
