Has anyone out there got an ignition switch for a B10. And I know there is a shortage of seats but I'm really keen to buy a pair, either 1200 or 1000- preferably within the state.

Ignition switch - any auto parts store should be able to sort you out with a universal type unit for about $15 - $20

Indeed, indeed.
I checked up at the auto-pro near me. They didn't have one.
Plus I'd rather give my money to a fellow datsun fanatic. Keep the money where it should be.

Both the 1000s ive had, and all the ignition barrles off 1000s ive had were rooted! The key(or any of a simmiler size) would fall out and any position.

I got a $19 Hella one from a auto shop. Gives you the acc. spot too which is handy The only prob is that it free spins in the original hole because its the wrong shape and doesnt locate! ATM its cable tied to the steering column

Yeah I think kue has hit the nail on the head. I'll wait for dundee to have a look around. If not i'll have to go with the aftermarket one.

Still looking for the seats. If anyone in SA or VIC could help that'd be great. Moses1 I will consider your offer when I am sure there aren;t any nearer to me.
