i have recently put in my stanza struts and was wondering which springs i should go with, at the moment i have the stanza originals but its a but 4x4 for my liking just wondering what others have used with the stanza struts. i would like the car reasonably low. any car models and/or part numbers would be greatly appreciated.
White Sedan suggested Gemini TD/TE anyone able to feed more info on these as well?

thanks again
Tom

first off, if you would like the car reasonably low then you will have to look into cutting the strut tube down and fitting shorter inserts so that you not bottoming out all the time

gemini front springs will work, but will need to be cut down to the size you want, oooo cutting springs
corrona front springs, from the double a arm front models, will also work and also need to be cut down to size

if you would like a softer(than the gemin and corrona) but still good handling ride, then 200b rear springs are good.....once again need to be cut

If you want the car lowered to the stock (or lower) level, use the B110 springs on the Stanza strut after you lower the spring cup. See A10 Strut Swap

so what would be the best and lowest set up i could go with the stanza struts WITHOUT having to cut the struts themselves?

Thanks again

Tom, i do a custom spring to suit the Stanza strut, they are 250lb and are a super low spring, I shorten the struts to use them and use a shorter insert tho, or you spring wont be captive in the strut.

Several club members have reported that using stock ride-height, the Stanza struts only give 2" of travel. If that is true, don't even think of lowering it without cutting the strut housing and using shorter insert like 280ZX. These inserts have the full travel , but are physically shorter.

Why 200-250 lb springs? The stock springs, which give a good smooth front ride, are 90 lb/in. The B210 and B310 springs have almost the same rate but are longer.
