Was the 1200 Coupe available with air conditioning? If so, does anyone know if those components be sourced? Seems like it's getting hotter every summer in California!

I think that a knee freezer was available for the GX, but I think it was a japan only option. DD is the man, since he is our 1200 encyclopedia. I used the seach bar and found a heap of threads about it, so trawl through them, they will contain usefull info.

I have optional a/c in my coupe that is non-functional. I'm pretty sure it was a dealer installed option. The bracket that mounts the compressor and alternator is a monstrosity.

I kept all the parts and I might give it a go sometime in the future.

No 1200 got ac from Japan. It was not a factory (Japan) option, but a dealer option.

Look up club member "nomore" from California, he might be will to sell you his A/C setup (which he is not using).
