I can't believe this! Nissan Malaysia told me that "it is not in our
policy to release the factory service manual nor the Parts catalogue as this
is the intellectual property of Nissan." Is this true? Is the service manual available in North America, Australia and other countries? Too bad VW manuals are readily
available from Robert Bentley publishing. Poor product support I say!

look on ebay - there are regularly service manuals there for as little as US $3, but some are more pricey....go to www.ebay.com,
not www.ebay.com.au .
good luck

Nick, I don't know what part of the world you're in but I'm in Australia (Qld). When I bought my 1200 ute, I was able to get the local (Nth Qld at the time) Datsun/Nissan dealer
to get the manuals in from Japan. There are two manuals:-
(1) Service Manual model A10 & A12 engine. Publication No. SM5E-0A12G0 - Printed Nov. 1984 (39) Japan
(2) Service Manual model B120 series Chassis & Body. Publication No. SM8E-B120G0 - Printed Apr. 1984 (06) Japan
Both manuals have this address on the front cover:-
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd
Export Service Department
Tokyo, Japan
These manuals DO NOT contain a Parts List although they do contain the numbers of specific tools Datsun/Nissan recommend for certain work.
I hope this information helps. Unfortunately, unless you live in Brisbane, I can't help you any further.
Email me know if you want anything more
Regards
