hay every one i was just wondering can ya put twin pods on sus and webbers i guy at autobarn said ya cant cause if fuel splashes back it will create a fire is this true your help will be appreshiated lol cheers spenc

The are not legal for the road. Unenclosed filters have always been illegal. You will be given a yellow sticker as a defect notice.

He is talking about fuel leaks that get ignited by lean backfire through the carby. This is quite common on badly tuned carbies of any sort.

if its a rally car u can do what u want unless u have to comply with rules/regs i doubt it would matter ive seen many a rally car with four sock filters on webers .....im not rally expert but thats my two c.

yer the lad at auto barn said the hose tube stuff will catch alight would radiator hose work i wont to put twin pods cause that would look sick ay lol maybe if i use radiater house and a heat shield i should be right

cause all the speed way cars are using filter socks but i think that thay would be more dangerouns than a pod

none of them will work on either type of carby ....
what carbies do you have ?? SU's or webers ??
both webers and SU's run completely different types of filter .....
